With a background in copywriting, Mário D’Andrea has worked in large agencies such as FCB, Loducca, Lowe and Fischer.
D’Andrea held the position of President at JWT Brazil and placed the agency among the most creative in the country. In 2008 he also became part of JWT’s Global Creative Council.
Still in 2008 he was chosen as the Best Creative Director of Brazil at the El Ojo Ibero-America Festival. He coordinated the communication for HSBC throughout Latin America and the cases he has worked on include brands such as Coca-Cola, Ford, J&J, Cadbury, Kraft (Mondelez), Amanco and Nestlé, among others. In 2010 he was chosen as the Creative Professional of the Year by the Caboré Award from Meio&Mensagem – the brazilian equivalent to AdAge.
He was a jury member at Cannes during three editions of the festival: 2006, 2012 and 2013.
As Creative Director, he has won the Professional of the Year Award from Globo Network a total of 9 times. He has also been awarded at the NY Festivals, received the Gold Award at LIA – London International Awards – the Grand Prix at FIAP and 14 Lions from the Cannes Festival.
